Better Together Ottawa
Breaking down silos between organizations, and uniting ministries to foster a better community for all those on the margins in our city.
Who we are...
Capital City Mission, Restoring Hope Ministries, and Jericho Road stand as enduring allies and charitable pillars within Ottawa, united in our collective mission to serve the community and nurture a profound sense of belonging.
We are committed to breaking down barriers for marginalized populations across Ottawa. Through our individual programs and shared objectives, we strive to cultivate family-style communities rooted in inclusivity and compassion, rejecting judgmental and institutional norms.
At our core, we recognize the transformative power of community, beyond addressing basic needs. By meeting individuals where they are, and tailoring our services to their unique circumstances, we foster meaningful connections beyond the walls of our buildings.
Together, we extend our support not only to those we serve but also to each other. By sharing resources and collaborating closely, we amplify our impact and create a stronger, more resilient community. It's through these partnerships that we are all #BetterTogether.
"We cannot accomplish all that we need to do without working together"
~ Bill Richardson

Everyone needs a place to connect with others and to be themselves. Many people find that place with us at our daytime drop-in centre. By providing a space of safety and offering friendship, Capital City Mission feels like home for many in our city.

Restoring Hope Ministries
We work together with the local church and many volunteers to provide safe shelter, food, and emergency supplies for up to 20 youth (16-24yrs old) who are experiencing homelessness.
Each week we work to protect vulnerable youth who are in danger of drug and alcohol addiction, human trafficking and mental health struggles from falling through the cracks and going unnoticed.

Jericho Road Ministries
Jericho's addiction treatment program places a strong emphasis on achieving lasting recovery, fostering community, and nurturing healthy relationships. Taking the time to establish these cornerstones during the initial stages of recovery is a key approach for addressing the underlying triggers of addiction.
